Who is this wool pad ideal for and who might not be ideal for?

The pad has removable cotton straps (and organic cotton corner ties) to secure a snug, secure fit on mattresses up to 14 inches thick.
What care is required to keep the pad in good condition?
Care is simple: hand wash in mild detergent and line dry to maintain the pad’s feel and performance.
